Most of those fans HATED this movie. I thought it was good Bay fun. I love his gregarious use of action, and nobody incorporates special effects like he does. I also don't see the problem with making an action oriented film with a thin plot if it's as entertaining as this film was. I'm excited for number 2, but a little worried about one thing. The story (yes I caught a plot somewhere in the trailer) seems a direct mimic of the first, except he's already got the girl. Let's see how that works. I really want to but I can't bring myself to do it. I guess I'm too bitter now or something. I dislike the commercialy feel to it. It smacks of a giant car commercial or a Pepsi ad or something. Why they can't have an engaging story behind it is beyond me. The effects are awesome but I'm tired of the cliche that is Bay. I just can’t like this movie.
