It's so touching in different levels and what a shame that the character's don't make it in the end yet their story lives on....the fact that this is based upon the director's autobiographical book makes it all the more moving and depressing. I've never seen an animation like it. Brutally honest about the effects of war on civilians. Any movie involving suffering children will get me.
