In fact, why I didn't like about the script is that it gave too much importance to the cops' desire to take justice in their own hands. This goes without saying that we don't get to see the consequences they might face (ex: being demoted by their superiors or other consequences). Other than that, I agree that the acting and the fight scenes were great. I agree that the script wasn’t that great in SPL even though Donnie Yen’s effort to make a serious film was put on display.
