Not only is the anti-hero well acted, the villain himself is absolutely chilling. The atmosphere and scene composition are unusually strong, and they grab you the moment the movie begins. I think its also worth noting that sections of the movie are quite tense and disturbing while actually showing very little. That's quality filmmaking there.
