As I read your review I can't help but think of the Family Guy episode where Keanu Reeves character places a 'very special' piece of mail into the mailbox! HAHA! I was interested in seeing this before but Keanu Reeves annoys me and if it's really all about the two boring characters, I'm not sure I can stand it.

*slaps forehead* not even my female readers can get behind this film, maybe I should stick to violent movies with killer monster mutants lol

Yeah this is a good movie (IMO of course!) that really slipped under the radar. The Time Travellers Wife is the big one in theaters now thats similar to this but I would definetely throw some credit to this much deserved film.

I had no idea this was a remake! There's time traveling in this movie? Unfortunately, even if they threw in loads of fighting, aliens AND Godzilla (Toho Godzilla of course!)I 'm not sure I could sit through a Bullock and Reeves romance film.

I really really didn't like this. I just watched it last week and have had my review drafted for about that long. It's so incredibly uninspiring I just haven't had the urge to finish writing it. The film was all about the two main characters and if they aren't compelling what the hell is going to keep you interested, plus I agree that more element into the time travel issue would have been more interesting and made their "fake" universe more relevant. Instead it felt like a gimmick. Lame.
