I like how in the movie Jaden state, ” Its not karate mom its kung fu…” that made me happy considering karate has nothing to do with china. maybe historically but thats another topic. A t first I really wanted to hate the movie just because of the title. Other title they really stuck to the same scrpt like the original, which was good. It ended up being a great film. HOLLYWOOD STILL SHOULD HAVE CHANGED THE TITLE!

R U sure you’re not simply liking the Karate Kid movie because of Jaden Smith’s parents…Will & Jada. BTW, didn’t Mom & Dad front the production costs for the film?

Well, this new one is a much bigger production. My family loved it. i think im still partial to the old one. but they were both great.

Wow. I’m surprised again. I still want to hate it, but I’ve read several reviews that claim exactly what you did. There are some things that are actually good about the movie, and the fact that the lack of good summer blockbusters are happening gives it more credit that it might deserve, but either way if it was horrible everyone would be screaming it’s horrible because most of us have wanted to bash it. I guess I’ll wait for DVD on this one.

Wow I really did not expect that! If it comes with your thumb of approval, then I guess it’s ok for me to check it out. Like you, I wanted to hate this movie but have been completely surprised by the mostly positive reception this has been getting.

cool film but some weak editing and chan isnt on form plus jayden smith is a much better actor than most kids are and he did very well in this film with a bright future ahead of him it seems your just an amatuer unskilled reviewer who is reluctant to not hate
