P.O.D. has logged a remarkable array of achievements, including worldwide sales exceeding 10 million and a series of chart topping radio hits. For many of rock kin, they declared P.O.D. on ‘rock suicide’ when five years ago, P.O.D. singer Sonny Sandoval had a desire to renew and strengthen his long-held faith as a born-again Christian and he decided to step away from the multimillion-selling band he started 20 years ago. Now, P.O.D. are back and better than ever with a brand new album, “Murdered Love”.

Sonny and his longtime band mates will join the third annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival this summer alongside multi-platinum rock bands Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind and Papa Roach. In the meantime, we caught up with Sonny to discuss the bands evolution of sound, to Christian views and values, to anime? You’ll just have to listen below!
