Being born in California do you feel that gave you leg up in your endeavors? I know you went to Scratch Academy, and being an aspiring model and actress…well you didn’t have to travel far. Do you feel this gave you an advantage?
Kim: Definitely, I always wanted to do something in the entertainment industry and living in Los Angeles helped alot because when I first started I had to go to lots of auditions everyday.
After working with Todd Philips you decided that you wanted to take your acting to the next level. How have you prepared yourself to take the career path of acting more serious? What kind of roles are you aiming for; drama or more comedy?
Kim: After the Hangover 2. I took some acting classes for a lil bit but I decided to focus on DJing and producing our own music. I love comedy but I’m open to any kind of roles.

Can we expect you in the new Fast and the Furious films?
Kim: That’s funny you brought that up cause an agent mentioned that to me the other day; so you never know!
It goes without saying you are gorgeous. Even acquiring #1 FHM Sexiest Woman in Asia. What kind of doors this this open up to you when you gain recognition like this?
Kim: After recieving that title I shot like back to back covers for FHM all over the world from Russia to Philippines and I’m just thankful to even have this opportunity to shoot almost any magazine I want.
Can you give us some details on your upcoming reality show? What made you gravitate towards television?
Kim: All I can say is it’s never been done before and I’m very excited about it.
You wear many hats, and another one is music. As a DJ, how do you decide what you’re going to play every night. Do you decide in advance or you let the mood strike you?
Kim: My DJ partner and I would put together a playlist that we think would be perfect for that night but sometimes we just go with the flow and suprise the crowd. I love bringing old tracks back. I love 80′s and 90′s music so I would bring back a dope 80′s track, but the electro version, and people would just go nuts.
What are some of yoru favorite Asian films?
Kim: Seven Samurai is a classic film.
As a model, I am sure you have to follow a strict diet. However, as a DJ, spinning into the late night hours at clubs and parties, do you indulge in junk food and alcohol often?
Kim: To be honest, I started drinking more than I usually do ever since I started DJing which isn’t good; plus I’m a gym rat. I try to maintain a healthy diet and there’s so much calories in alcohol, but now I just drink redbull to keep me up.
Being a DJ and international model, travelling is a huge part of your months. Could you tell us some interesting facts on some of the cultural aspects you have learned on your travels?
Kim: I found out you’re not allowed to chew gum in Singapore which I thought was strange but now I get why they don’t let you. Also when I shot for FHM Malaysia I couldn’t wear a swimsuit. I had to wear a dress. It was really interesting to me.
Lastly, what advice do you have for any models out there looking to explore other avenues (acting, music, etc.)?
Kim: Believe in yourself. You only live once so whatever you want to do… do it now. I been rejected many times in life but I didnt give up. I think everyone is a star in their own way.
